Mrs. June Marie White, age 71, of Oil Trough, departed this life Thursday, November 3, 2016 in Batesville, Arkansas. She was born March 16, 1945 in Benton Harbor, Michigan to the late Dallas Vaughn (Red) and Jennie Maxine (Taylor) Slatton.

Mrs. June married Joe Allen White in 1973. She was a member of the Extension Homemakers Club. She enjoyed reading, singing, baking, cooking, and working with students at Cedar Ridge School.

She is survived by three daughters, Dreema Rogers, Dana Morgan (Husband-Chris), and Jennifer Newberry (Husband-Randy), three step-sons, John White, Gary White, Scott White, and 1 step-daughter, Gina Woodruff; eight grandchildren, Braydon White, Hayley Newberry, Josie Newberry, Villin Rogers, Valina Rogers, Tyson Morgan, Wesley Morgan, and Brody Morgan. She had one great grandchild; several nieces, nephews, other family members, and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Allen White; one step-son, Perry White; her parents; three brothers, Jim Slatton, Sonny Slatton, and Bill Slatton; and one sister, Gail Slatton.

Visitation will be held Friday, November 11, 2016 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the Oil Trough City Hall.

Graveside Service will be held Saturday, November 12, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at McMullin Cemetery on Hideout Road, in Pleasant Plains with Bro. Stanley Vandergrift officiating. Interment to follow.
