Obituary:
Johnny Milo Adkins, 66, of Magnolia, AR, passed away on December 11, 2015 after a brief illness.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, December 14, 2015 at Magnolia Memorial Park Cemetery in Magnolia, AR, under the direction of Lewis Funeral Home. Pastor Ronny Blagrave of Hilltop Baptist Church will be officiating.
Johnny was born in Magnolia, AR on November 20, 1949. He graduated from Hampton Dubose Academy in Zellwood, FL, attended LeTourneau University in Longview, TX, and recently retired from Southern Aluminum in Magnolia.
He is preceded in death by his father, Melvin J. Adkins; brother, Jerry Mack Adkins; paternal grandparents, Milam and Mary Adkins; and maternal grandparents, Hermon Burchfield and Essie Price Burchfield Campbell.
Johnny is survived by his mother, Patsy Adkins; sister, Jane Roberson and husband Will all of Magnolia, AR; sister in law, Judy Adkins of Pensacola, FL; nieces and nephews, Amanda Mosley-Blackford (Shawn) of Haughton, LA, Rickey Mosley (Dallas) and Lance Mosley (Shannon) of Longview, TX, Amy Lynch of Gulf Breeze, FL, Mark Mosley (MaryAnn) of Magnolia, AR, Molly Adkins O’Conner of Pensacola, FL, Stoker Adkins (Taryn) of College Station, TX, Hannah M. Adkins of Houston, TX, Crystal Adkins of Magnolia, AR and Brandy Mosley of Paris, TX, and nineteen great nieces and nephews.
Serving as pallbearers will be Lance Mosley, Rickey Mosley, Mark Mosley, Will Roberson, Stoker Adkins, and Bailey Mosley. Honorary pallbearers will be Wesley Mosley and nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
