William B. "Dub" Harmon, 53, of the Standard-Umpstead community died at an El Dorado hospital early Thursday after a brief illness. He was a pumper for A. A. Gilbert and Joe R. Mays Production Co., a member of the Louann Methodist Church and a veteran of WWII in the U. S. Air Force. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Joyce City Baptist Church with the Rev. Raymond Carneal officiating. Burial will be in Smackover Cemetery under the direction of Young Funeral Home of El Dorado. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Johnnie Anderson Harmon; one sone, Billy John Harmon; one daughter, Mrs. ileen Fletcher; his mother, Mrs. Effie Harmon, one sister, Mrs. Wanda Boren and one grandson, all of Smackover.
