Funeral services for Augustus Ellsworth Covington, 80, who died January 12*, at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Johnnie Lane of Sidney, were held Saturday at the Heiskill Cemetery at Buford with Rev. Clarence Hurst officiating.
Mr. Covington was born in Baxter County and spent most of his life here. He was a member of the Church of Christ.
Survivors include one son, Ed Covington of Mt. Home; two daughters Mrs. Maude Smith of Strawberry, CA and Mrs. Johnny Lane of Sidney; ten grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
Couch Funeral Home, Batesville, was in charge of arrangements.
