FISHER -- Annetta Mae Brown, 91 of Portia, formerly of Fisher, died Monday, Aug. 28th, 2006 in St. Bernard's Medical Center.
Annetta was born at McMinnville, Tenn., on May 14, 1915, to John and Mary Owen Truitt. She was a member of Fisher Baptist Church in Fisher and past president and treasurer of the Ladies Homemaker Extension Club of Hickory Ridge.
Survivors include a daughter, Mary McIllwain of Fisher; a granddaughter, Trista McIllwain of Fisher and many, many loving relatives and friends.
Annetta was preceded in death by her husband, Jess Brown, and 11 brothers and sisters.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Thursday in Langford-Bookout Funeral Home at Jonesboro with James Mullins officiating. Burial will follow in Lewis Cemetery in Hickory Ridge.
