November 16, 1948 - January 26, 2014
Lauralea Cox, 65, of Alma, Arkansas passed away on Sunday, January 26, 2014 in a local nursing home.
She was born November 16, 1948 in Mulberry, AR to the late Roland and Floy (Lawrence) Belt.
She was a retired social worker for several hospitals including the Good Shepherd Medical Center and the Texas Oncology Cancer Center in Longview, TX, a former resident of Gilmer, TX for 30 years and a member of the Jesus Christ Church of Latter Day Saints in Alma.
Funeral services will be Thursday, January 30, 2014 at Ocker Chapel of Alma with interment in Dyer Cemetery. The family will visit with friends from 5:00 until 7:00 P.M. Wednesday evening, January 29, 2014 at Ocker Funeral Home of Alma, 917 Hwy. 64 East, Alma, AR.
Survivors include her husband, Clifton Cox of the home; two daughters, Tasha Bias and husband Daniel of Huntsville, TX and Virginia Dale of Longview, TX; one son, Ed Cox of Longview, TX; one step daughter, Deborah Johnson of Hot Springs, AR; two step sons, Michael Cox of Arlington, TX and Benny Cox of Alma, AR; three sisters, Thalma Joyce of Dyer, AR, Sue Franklin of Van Buren, AR and GiGi Berry of Hacket, AR; one brother, Charles Belt of Jefferson, TX; 13 Grandchildren and 16 Great Grandchildren.
