Marcia Ann Halbrook, age 69, of Morrilton, Arkansas, passed away Monday, March 10, 2008. She was born September 18, 1938, in the Hattieville, Old Hickory Community, a daughter of the late Woodrow W. Masingill and Vida Golden Masingill. She was a retired Certified Nurses Aid from the Conway County Health Department and member of Hattieville Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband of fifty-one years, Joe Halbrook; daughter, Tammy (Steve) Harris, two sons, Les (Anna) Halbrook, and Wes (Debbie) Halbrook all of Morrilton; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; one sister, Phylis (Tuffy) Williams of Old Hickory; and one brother, Woodie (Marilyn) Masingill of Conway. She was preceded in death by a brother, Van Masingill. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 12, 2008, at the Hattieville Baptist Church with Bro. Kenneth Strickland and Bro. Dwight Scott officiating. Burial will be at Old Hickory Cemetery by Harris Funeral Home of Morrilton. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 11, at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Hattieville Baptist Church or Old Hickory Cemetery Fund.
