Nellie R. Perry of Mt. Home died Friday (May 14, 1999) at Baxter County Regional Hospital. She was 88.
Mrs. Perry was born on Feb 13, 1911, at Advance, to Mr. and Mrs. William Casteel. She married Ralph Perry on April 24, 1926, and was a homemaker. She was a lifetime area native and a member of the East Oaklnd Church of Christ.
She is survived by one daughter, Anna Odegard of Mt. Home; four grandchildren and their spouses, Ron Odegare (wife Sandy) of Ozark, Reggie Odegare (wife Merilee) of Mt. Home, Ted Odegare (wife Terrie) of Harrison and Julie Dykes (husband Jody) of Mt. Home; nine great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Perry was preceded in death by her parents, Belle and William Casteel; her son, Norman Perry; and four brothers.
Services were held Sunday at Roller Funeral Home Chapel with her granchildren serving as honorary pallbearers.
Memorials may be made to the Burnt Schoolhouse Cemetery Fund.
