Funeral for J. Howard Taylor, 76, of North Little Rock, who died Sunday, Feb. 27, 2005, will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 2, at North Little Rock Funeral Home Chapel. Graveside service and burial will follow at 3 p.m. at Oakland Cemetery in Clarksville.

He was a son of the late James A. and Cathryn Nordin Taylor, a retired employee of North Little Rock Waste Water and John Miller Tire Company, and was preceded in death by three sons, Jimmy, Michael and Nick; and one brother, Hayes Taylor.

Survivors include his wife of 54 years Dorcas L. Middleton Taylor; one son, Dale Taylor of Little Rock; one brother, John Taylor of Omaha, Neb.; four grandsons, Todd, Jimmy, Chris and Jason Taylor; ten great-grandchildren.

Dorcas Louise Taylor, 80, of North Little Rock died Friday, Dec. 2, 2011.

A native of Clarksville, she was a daughter of the late J.D. and Dena Daniel Middleton, graduate of Clarksville High School, widow of James Howard Taylor, and was preceded in death by three sons, James Howard Taylor II, Michael Ray Taylor, and Anthony Wayne Taylor.

Survivors include one son, Dale Taylor of North Little Rock; three brothers, Paul Middleton and Sammy Middleton, both of Clarksville, and Bill Middleton of Yukon, Okla.; three sisters, Rosalie Price of Clarksville, Elizabeth Sanderson of Piney and Loda Schreckhise of Lamar; four grandsons, Todd, Chris, Jimmy and Jason, all of North Little Rock; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Graveside services and burial were at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 6, at Oakland Cemetery with Rev. Kenneth Cash officiating.
