Allene Tumbleson, 86, of Westville, Oklahoma, went to be with her Lord on July 3, 2012.
Allene was born to Monroe Brown and Elizabeth Wyers on March 8, 1926 in Ozark, Arkansas
She married Edward Tumbleson on March 19, 1947. They had four children, Troy, Pamela, Deborah, and Carlos.
Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, July 6, 2012 at Shaffer Funeral Home Chapel in Ozark, AR. Dion Edwards will officiate.
She loved to crochet and go fishing.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward; daughter, Deborah; her parents, Monroe and Elizabeth Brown; to sisters, Velta Ming and Colleen Brown, and an infant brother who died at birth; and four grandchildren.
She is survived by daughter, Pamela (Mel) Richardson of Westville, Oklahoma; two sons, Troy Tumbleson of Lincoln, Arkansas, and Carlos Tumbleson of Osage City, Kansas; sixteen grandchildren; twenty-three great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; two sisters, Oleta (Melvin) Reavis of Kansas City, Missouri, and Shirley (Jim) Storey of Grove, Oklahoma; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers are Billy Allman, Jonas Tumbleson, Bryan Jenkins, Wyatt Edwards, Derek Tumbleson, and Miccah Foley.
