Margaret B. Sherman, age 88, of Banks, Arkansas died Tuesday, November 8, at BCMC. She was born January 1, 1917 at Banks, Arkansas a daughter of the late Thomas Harley Bell and Edith Seymore Bell. She was a homemaker, a member of Blue Springs Assembly of God Church and the widow of Doyle Sherman who died May 28, 1984. Surviving are 2 sons Robert D. “Bob” Sherman, El Dorado, Ark. and Doyle Kenneth Sherman, Pine Bluff, Ark; 1 daughter Patricia Anne Williams, Warren, Ark; 5 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and 3 step great grandchildren. A son in law Robert M. Williams, 2 brothers Joe Curtis Bell and Cecil H. Bell and a sister Lois B. Perkins also preceded her in death. Funeral services were 1:30 pm Thursday November 10, at Frazer’s Chapel with Rev. Larry Goza officiating. Janice Sullivan was organist and soloist was Mary Robbins Fierce. Burial was in McFarland Cemetery at Banks by Frazer’s Funeral Home of Warren. Active pallbearers were Mike Williams, Christopher Williams, David Martin, Joe David Hammons, Craig Ashcraft and Sheriff William “Butch” Belin. Honorary pallbearers were Red Wolfe, Gary McFarland, Thomas Wagnon Bill Cargile, Jason Pennington, Lee Roy Hamaker and J.D. Simmons.
