Donnie L. Clinton, 65, of Hartman died Thursday, June 5, 2003, at St. Edward Mercy Medical Center in Fort Smith. He was a native of Clarksville, son of the late Chester and Bonnie Bly Clinton, graduate of Clarksville High School, member of the Assembly of God Church, spent 20 years in the 239th Engineer Company of the National Guard at Clarksville, was a heavy equipment operator, and was preceded in death by 1 brother, Doyle Clinton.Survivors include his widow, Janice Clinton; 2 daughters, Cheryl McCarley of Lamar and Debbie Clinton of Coal Hill; 1 son, Brian Clinton of Clarksville; and 4 grandchildren, Mika Clinton and Katie Clinton, both of Clarksville, and Kaleb and Kendall McCarley, both of Lamar.
Active pallbearers were Junior Rives, Bruce Warren, John Schuh, Curtis Fetters, James Cowell, Jerry Curtis, James Dickerson and Gerald Bunch. Honorary pallbearers were Bryan Tipton, Bo Miller, and Owen Cockrum.
