MELBOURNE - Eugene Laurence Girard, 90, of Zion died Sunday, June 17, 2001, at a hospital in Little Rock.
Born Nov. 4, 1910, in Houghton, Mich., he was the son of Charles and Sonia Yell Girard. He was united in marriage to Joyce Nichole at Evening Shade in 1983. He was a retired truck driver and a member of the Teamsters Union 600.
Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Joy Tierce of Alabama and Katy Moore of Michigan; and four step-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Mona Girard; four brothers; and two sisters.
The body was cremated.
There will be no services. Arrangements are by Howard Funeral Home of Melbourne.
