LISA A. RUSSELL
A gathering of friends celebrating the life of Lisa Ann Russell, 57, will be held at a later date.
Lisa was born on Sept. 8, 1959 in El Dorado, from the union of Mr. Arthur M. Watts and the former Miss Ann Mitcham of El Dorado. A resident of El Dorado, she died on Friday, March 10, 2017 in West Monroe, Louisiana.
Left behind to cherish her memory is her husband, Jeff, of El Dorado; step-son, Robert Russell of Strong; granddaughter, Tina Green and her family; brother, Ken (Marie) Watts, of Oviedo, Florida, and Matthew (Danielle) Watts, of Orlando, Florida; her dad, Arthur Watts of Ocala, Florida; her mom, Ann (Richard) Forgey, of Tyler, Texas; aunts, Elizabeth Milleson, of Ocala, and Martha Wooley, of Houston; along with a host of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her son, John Smalley.
A devout Christian, wife and mother, she idolized her beloved late son, John, never allowing the love for him to falter or dim. Nothing brought her more joy and pleasure than her pets and her flowers.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in her honor to “UCAPS,” Union County Animal Protection Society in El Dorado.
