Mrs. Shannon Carlton Flowers, 42, of Bodcaw, died Wednesday, May 20, 2015 in Little Rock.
Mrs. Flowers was born July 8, 1972, in Hope, to John Richard “Dickie” and Marilyn Baker Carlton.
She was a member of the Bodcaw No. 1 Baptist Church and a homemaker. Mrs. Flowers loved to watch her children participate in rodeos. She was a loving mother, daughter, and sister.
Survivors include her parents, Dickie and Marilyn Carlton of Bodcaw; her fiancé, Steve Nivens of Hope two sons; Walker Flowers and his fiancé, Angel Squyres, and Justin Nivens of Hope; one daughter, Lillian Marie Nivens; one brother, Russ Carlton of Bodcaw; one special aunt, Wanda Baker; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, friends, and relatives.
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to American Cancer Society.
Visitation is set for 6-8 p.m. Saturday, May 23, at Brazzel/Oakcrest Funeral Home in Hope.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, May 24, at the Brazzel/Oakcrest Chapel.
Burial will follow in Bodcaw No. 1 Cemetery ,with Bro. James Ross, Bro. David Hampton and Bro. Lane Garner officiating.
