Glenna Belle Suggs, 90, passed away Monday, Aug. 3, 2015. Service: Saturday, Aug. 22, in Mount Petit Jean, Ark. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, please consider a tribute or donation in Glenna's memory to Catholic Charities Fort Worth at catholiccharitiesfortworth.org. Glenna was born in March 1925 to Ottis and Ruby Montgomery in Morrilton, Ark. She graduated from Morrilton High School with the class of 1943 and continued her education at Henderson University. Glenna married Graham A. Suggs on May 5, 1945, in Florida. Glenna spent time raising her children and once they graduated, she ventured out into the workforce. She worked for Eckerd Drugs/CVS for over 20 years. Known as Miss Eckerd to her loyal customers, she received many customer service awards. Glenna and her family are members of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Arlington. Glenna enjoyed traveling, playing bridge, watching the Dallas Mavericks and Texas Rangers and, most of all, spending quality time with her family. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were a tremendous joy in her life. The family wishes to express their sincere appreciation to Heart to Heart Hospice. Glenna was blessed with the most gracious and compassionate caregivers. Shinikka and Aletha are truly angels on earth. Glenna has joined in heaven her parents; a son, Gregory Stephen Suggs; a daughter, Mary Dean Suggs; sister, Alice Dean Montgomery; and brother, Carroll L. Montgomery. Survivors: Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Graham A. Suggs; children, Graham M. Suggs and spouse, Sharon, George M. Suggs and spouse, Karen, Trish Suggs, Brad Suggs and spouse, Stephanie, and Chris Suggs; grandchildren, Jennifer Hammonds and spouse, Tim, Melissa Suggs, Brandy Childress and spouse, Johnny, Jeremiah Suggs and spouse, Kelley, and Tyler Suggs; great-grandchildren, Graham, Olivia and Lauren Hammonds, Calvin, Crew and Masen Childress, and Brayden, Jack and Charlotte Suggs; sister, Bettye Henderson and spouse, Burton; and numerous loving nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
