Mrs. Sallie Lyons Armer aged 81 of 2667 Warren St., died in the Ouachita Hospital at 9:45 a.m. Saturday. Mrs. Armer was a native of Union County. She had been making her home with a daughter, Mrs. E. L. Hammonds here for the past three years. She was the widow of Claude Armer, and she was a member of the Baptist Church. She is survived by two sons, Curtis Armer, and H. M. Armer both of Camden; three daughters, Mrs. Paul Harrell, and Mrs. Vera Antoon of El Dorado, and Mrs. E. L. Hammond of Camden; one brother, Roy Lyons of El Dorado; three sisters, Mrs. Henry West of El Dorado, Mrs. Arthur Dunn, and Mrs. Junie Pepper of Junction City; and by eleven grandchildren. Funeral services were at 10:00 a.m. Monday at the Westside Baptist Church in El Dorado, with burial in the Arlington Cemetery at El Dorado by Proctor Funeral Home. (Camden News - September 19, 1966)
