Shirley Mai Brister Joyner of Marianna, Arkansas, passed away on February 17, 2013 in Forrest City at the age of 77. She was born on September 30, 1935 to the late Robert Brister and Effie Ralph Brister.
Shirley was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, W. Wallace "Doc" Joyner; one sister, Sue Zenar and one grandson, Jason Joyner.
She is survived by one son, William Joyner, II of Southaven; two daughters, Patsy Joyner of Marianna and Melanie Joyner of Munford, TN; one sister, Robbie Jackson of Munford; three grandchildren, Sasha McCammon, Danielle Nicole Smith and Joshua Crawford and six great grandchildren, Tylor Barnett, Taylor Barnett, Cayley McCammon, Eli Smith, Blake McCammon and Alicia McCammon.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, February 23, 2013 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
