Mrs. Ethel Rushington, aged 74 died in a Fayetteville hospital at 10 a.m. Friday. She had been ill some time. Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Eugene Cawthon, Jr., of Camden, Mrs. Lee Blanton of Fayetteville; Mrs. J. B. Johnson of Searcy; one son Bill Rushton of Searcy three sisters, Mrs. Lillian Warren of Camden; Mrs. Agnes Brandon of Magnolia, and Mrs. Ed Bates of Waco, Texas, a brother Fred Gillespie of Little Rock, eight grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday at Christie's Chapel, Magnolia by Lewis Funeral Service. (Camden News - March 3, 1963)
