Carolyn S. Witcher, age 62, of Hot Springs, died, Friday, November 1, 2013.

She was born on January 4, 1951 in Bastrop, Louisiana, the daughter of Johnny B. Watson and Ernestine Martin Watson. She married Robert Witcher on November 25, 1985.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her daughter, Madonna Lowrance; and two sisters, Betty Mason and Shirley Degges.

She was a member of the Lake Hamilton Assembly of God Church where Carolyn was very active in organizing and working with the food pantry at the church.

She was survived by her husband, Robert Witcher of Hot Springs; four sons and one daughter-in-law, Bryan Lowrance of Hot Springs, Ariel Witcher of Hot Springs, Jonathan and Ruthie Witcher of Conway and Daniel Lowrance of Little Rock; two daughters, Monica Lowrance and Kristina Witcher both of Hot Springs; five grandchildren, David Calderon, Hezekiah Witcher, Lyndsay Witcher, Kinslee Gustafson and Bryce Witcher; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Johnny B. Watson, Jr. and wife, Joan of Rising Fawn, Georgia and Ronnie and Rose Watson of Austin, Arkansas; three sisters and one brother-in-law, Alice Sims of Jacksonville, AR, Peggy Thompson of El Dorado, AR and Barbara Knisley of Wingina, Virginia; nieces, nephews, extended family members and a host of wonderful friends.

Services will be held at 10:00 AM, Wednesday, November 6, 2013 in the Lake Hamilton Assembly of God Church with Pastor Travis George officiating.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Tuesday evening at Davis-Smith Funeral Home, Hot Springs.

Interment will be in the Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery under the directions of Davis-Smith Funeral Home, Hot Springs.

Memorials may be given in her honor to the Food Pantry at her church, Lake Hamilton Assembly of God Church, 2251 Airport Road, Hot Springs, AR 71913.
