Ernest Neal Wooten, 85 was born to James H. and Virgie V. Haney Wooten on January 27, 1927 and passed away on October 5, 2012 in Searcy, Arkansas. He was retired from Natural Gas Pipeline where he worked as operator and he was also a cattle farmer. He was of the Baptist Faith.
Mr. Wooten is preceded in death by his parents, his wife of 53 years Jean Wooten, a great-grandson, one brother and one sister.
He is survived by a daughter Vicki Taylor (Mike), a son Eric Wooten (Debbie) all of McRae, five grandchildren Michael Wooten, Shane Wooten, Aron Wooten, Heath Taylor, Heather Boyce, thirteen great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild, nieces, other relatives, and friends.
Visitation will be Tuesday October 9, 2012 from 6-8 pm at Roller-Daniel Funeral Home in Searcy, and Funeral Services will be in the Funeral Home Chapel at 10 am Wednesday October 10, 2012 with Bro. Mitch Vikers and Daniel Stockstill officiating. Interment will be in the Center Hill Cemetery.
