Jane Stevens McElroy Neff passed away Aug. 2 in Jacksonville, Fla. Jane was born Jane Stevens on Sept. 21, 1917, in Conway and grew up with four brothers and three sisters at Rose Hill fruit farm outside of Conway.

She was a 1940 graduate of Hendrix College with degrees in Humanities and Education. A teacher all her life she taught at Centerville, Kimberly, Idaho and Little Rock.

She was preceded in death by her husbands Kermit McElroy and John Neff.

Jane Neff is survived by her four children, Kermit Harry McElroy of Jacksonville, Fla., Jimmy McElroy of Salinas, Calif., Janie Pirollo of Woodinville, Wash., David McElroy of Omaha, Neb., 14 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren and one great-great grandson.

Inurnment will be 9 a.m. Saturday at Oak Grove Cemetery.

Memorial Services will follow at First United Methodist Church, Conway at 10 a.m. Saturday, with her grandson the Rev. Steven McElroy and the Rev. Charles Murry officiating.

A reception will be held in her honor after the Memorial service.
