Clarence Gene Hardin, 73, of Clarksville died Sunday, July 9, 2006, at Johnson Regional Medical Center.
He was a construction foreman and packing house worker, and a member of Cross Roads Assembly of God Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Burr and Dessie Hill Harden; a son, Ron Hardin; a brother, Kenneth Harden and his wife, Pat; brothers-in-law, Charles Dickerson and Howard Pelts; and infant twin great-grandsons.
Survivors include his wife, Juanita Cowan Hardin; sons, Billy Hardin and wife, Beverly, and Lonnie Hardin, all of Clarksville; daughters, Jeannett Willis and husband, George, of Batson, Margaret Hardin of Muskogee, Okla., PJ Skaggs and husband, Tim, of Ozark, and Kay Breedlove and husband, Tom, of Oark; brothers, Calvin Harden and wife, Merisue, of Texas, Luther Hardin and wife, Juanita, of Ozark, and Glen Harden and wife, Bonnie, of the Pleasant View community; sisters, Molly Dickerson of Clarksville, Velma Stone and husband, Noble, of Dodge City, Kan., Lois Brown and husband, Dellis, of Harrison, Leann Pelts of Lamar, and Bernice Cowell and husband, Donnie, of Low Gap; 18 grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren and expecting three more.
Funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Grenade's Chapel Church with the Rev. Tommy Parker officiating. Burial will be in JACKSON CEMETERY at Ozark by Roller-Cox Funeral Service.
Pallbearers:
Active -- Adam Hardin, Darin Harden, Dale Wright, Randy Cowell, Dustin James and Clyde Cowan.
Honorary -- Lucas Skaggs, Terry Pelts, Billy Hardin II, Duane Yates, Gary Dickerson and Greg Willis.
Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
