Larry Motley, Sr., 83, of Conway, went to be with the Lord Friday, December 4, 2015.
He was born June 27, 1932 in Pottsville, Arkansas to John E. “Pat” and Lilah Faye Motley.
Larry was a lifelong fan of baseball. He enjoyed playing and watching it with his family and navy buddies. Larry loved to travel. He had a motorhome and traveled to all the lower forty-eight states. Larry was in the Navy for four years and served in the Korean War on the USS Henrico.
Larry is survived by son, Larry Motley, Jr. of Conway; three daughters, Peggy Crowell (Randy) of Conway, Betsy Hatchett (Darrell) of Conway, Teresa Linden (David) of Damascus; ten grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren; and sister Joyce Miller.
He is preceded in death by his wife of fifty-six years Helen Savanah Motley, son Don Moore, and his parents.
Pallbearers will be grandsons Steve Moore, Mark Moore, Britt Freyaldenhoven, Brian Freyaldenhoven, Jake Linden, Josh Linden, Jace Motley and Calvin Motley.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday December 8, 2015 at First United Methodist Church in Conway with visitation an hour prior to service in the Chapel. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery in Conway.

Helen Savanah Motley, 83, of Conway, passed away on Saturday, May 19, 2012. She was born in Mt. Ida, Arkansas, the daughter of Winnie and John Calvin Willhite.
Helen is survived by her loving husband, Larry E. Motley Sr.; Sons, Don Moore (Cathy) of Jefferson, TX, Larry Motley Jr.; Daughters, Peggy (Randy) Crowell, Betsy (Darrell) Hatchett, and Teresa (David) Linden all of Conway. She is also survived by her sister, Geneva Lorenz of Denver, CO; one sister-in-law, Joyce Motley Miller of Conway; ten grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren.
A Funeral Service will be held at First United Methodist Church of Conway on Tuesday, May 22, 2012 at 3:30pm with burial following at Oak Grove Cemetery in Conway.
The family wishes to thank Heritage Nursing Home for the love and care they gave to Savanah. In lieu of flowers memorials maybe made to the First United Methodist Church of Conway; National Alzheimer's Association; or the AR Diabetes Association.
Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Roller-McNutt Funeral Home of Conway.
