Maudie "Pauline" Fulmer Gabbard, our beautiful mother, passed away on Tuesday, September 20, 2005, at her home in Conway with her loved ones surrounding her.

Pauline was born February 2, 1916 in Holland, AR.

Also surviving are two sisters, Zella Mae Wheeler of Kansas City, KS and Wanda Jean Grable of Sherwood, and numerous nieces and nephews who were very special to her. One of Pauline's greatest pleasures was spending time with her grandchildren. She was known as "mam-maw" to them. They include Lawrence Gabbard, Tracy Ellis, Micah Gabbard, John Freyaldenhoven, Paula Shaw, Amy Wood, Kathryn Freyaldenhoven, Sarah Smith, Brian Brenske, Jamie Hoder, and Shannon Gavin. Pauline is also survived by a very special cousin Faye Fulmer Smith who is 91 years old from Jones, OK.

Pauline was a very caring, giving, and loving person who loved doing for others. She was a wonderful cook who took great pleasure in preparing big meals for her family and friends. She was a talented seamstress and a very loving care giver to many family members. Pauline was a very devoted member of Second Baptist Church and loved her church family. Special neighbors and friends were a big part of her life. Pauline served her country during WWII by being a dedicated soldier's wife and working in a government ordnance arsenal plant.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. on Friday at Second Baptist Church with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery. Rev. William West will be officiating and assisted by Bryan Anthony and Dusty Rush.

Visitation will be Thursday from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Conway.
