Mrs. Imogene W. Tankersley, 46, of 2409 Lakeland St., died Tuesday in a local hospital following a lengthy illness. Born March 11, 1922, in Trenton, Tenn., she was the daughter of William H. and Lillian Curry Warren. She had been a resident of El Dorado for 18 years and was a member of the First Presbyterian Church. Survivors include her parents of Trenton, Tenn.; her husband, Oliver F. Tankersley, El Dorado; a daughter, Mrs. Jeane Ann Donahue, El Dorado; a brother, Ralph Warren, Gary, Ind.; and three sisters, Mrs. George Peacock, Bruceville, Ind., Mrs. Bill Warren, Trenton, and Mrs. Henrietta Manley, Memphis, Tenn. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in the chapel of Rumph Mortuary with the Rev. Gary Jones officiating. Burial will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Gardens. (El Dorado Times - March 5, 1969)
