Mrs. Jessie Reatha Roberts, 69, of Linville, La., died in her home Sunday. Mrs. Roberts was born on Sept. 17, 1895, the daughter of Edward and Mary Anna Harp Young. She was a member of the Christian Church of Linville. Survivors include her husband, Robert P. Roberts of Linville; three daughters, Mrs. William E. Taylor of Ruston, Mrs. William C. Ward of El Dorado and Mrs. Jack Pilgreen of Linville; three sons, Edward Y. Roberts of Sheffield, Ala., Anderson P. Roberts of Little Rock and Jessie Malcolm Roberts of Little Rock; three sisters, Mrs. Drew Winters of Montrose, Mrs. Ann Courtney of Monticello and Mrs. James L. Jeffries of Santo, Puerto Rico; two brothers, O. S. Young of Bastrop, La. and N. S. Young of Mabelwood, La.; her stepmother, Mrs. Mae Rellum of Bastrop; 22 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Monday at the Pratt Chapel with Rev. V. W. Hayhurst officiating. Pallbearers were grandsons and grandsons-in-law. They are: Frank Williams, William Scott Flournoy, J. W. Bond, Dan Skaines, Jim Boise and Gerald Franklin. Burial was in Arlington Cemetery under the direction of Pratt Funeral Home.
