Carolyn Thompson McClelland was born on August 17,1959 in Houston, TX the daughter of Samuel E. and Lorine Howard.
Carolyn accepted Christ at an early age at New Bethel Baptist Chruch, El Dorado, AR and later united with St. John Missionary Baptist Church where she was a member of the Choir.
She was an employee of Prescolite Industries, El Dorado, AR.
She was preceded in death by her adoptive parents, Theadore and Vera Thompson, two brothers, Keith Bishop and Quentin Rogers, and one sister Carolyn Rogers.
Carolyn found memories will be forever cherished by her mother, Lorine Hamilton and her step-father, Booker Hamilton; her daughter Shalebra Shantale Jefferson of Little Rock, AR; eight brothers, Carl Thompson of San Antonio, TX, Samuel E. Dennis, Jr., Alphonso Montgomery and Cori Rogers of Strong, AR, Clarence (Renea) Rogers, Anthony Rogers, Mario Rogers and Victor Rogers all of Conway, AR; five sisters, Sue Jenkins of El Dorado, AR, Sharon Gatson (Chuck) and Beverly Montgomery (Harold) both of Pine Bluff, AR, Alice Cato (James) of Antioch, CA, Tara Loggins of Strong, AR; 4 grandchildren.
Visitation will be at the funeral home from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. on Thursday, July, 18, 2013 and on Friday, June 19 ,2013 from 8:30 a.m. until 9 a.m. .
Homegoing will be held on Friday, July 19, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at St. John Missionary Baptist Church, El Dorado, AR with Rev.John K. Patterson of Milwaukee, Wisc., officiating.
