Helen Dillard Oliver, 94 of El Dorado, passed away on Wednesday, September 25, 2013, at the John R. Williamson Hospice House. She was born February 11, 1919, to Ernest Jasper and Lena Mae Bagwell Dillard in Farmerville, LA.

She was a member of the First Baptist Church in El Dorado and enjoyed gardening and cooking. Before her retirement, Helen worked as a Registered Nurse in ICU at Warner Brown Hospital and the Union Medical Center.

Preceding her in death are her parents; her husband of 69 years, Kenneth Oliver, Sr.; two brothers; three sisters; and son-in-law, Gary Elia.

Survivors include her son, Kenneth Oliver (Mary Jo); daughter, Nancy Elia both of El Dorado; sister, Betty Sue Holder of Shreveport, LA; four grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, and one great, great grandchild.

Visitation will be held from 5:30-6:30 p.m. Friday, September 27, 2013, at Young's.

A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, September 28, 2013, in the Chapel at the First Baptist Church under the direction of Young's Funeral Directors, with Dr. Matt Pearson officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Holy Angels, 10450 Ellerbe Rd., Shreveport, LA 71116, or to the Charity of the Donor's Choice.
