Lottie Irene (Crook) Nixon
Beloved Wife and Mother passed away at Home Hospice of Odessa, Texas at the age of 82. Lottie Crook was born April 25th, 1930 in Little Rock, Arkansas to Steve and Ora Mae Crook.

On October 30th, 1947 she married Hugh W. Nixon in Pulaski County, Arkansas. They made their home in Odessa, Texas around 1954.
Lottie, who was a devoted wife to Hugh for 56 years before he passed away in 2004, was a wonderful mother to her three children, and a loving grandmother and great grandmother.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Hugh Nixon, one son, Allen Nixon, one brother, Floyd Crook, one sister, Ivory Pryor and her parents, Steve and Ora Mae Crook.

She is survived by daughter Pamela Cherry and husband Earl of Odessa, TX; son John Nixon and wife Teresa of Odessa, TX; grandchildren Cliffton Cherry and Shawn Key of Midland, TX and Christopher Cherry and wife Christina of Odessa, TX and five great-grandchildren; two sisters Edith Gates of Newell, SD and Frances Simon of Rowland, AR and brother Steve Crook of Mayflower, AR.
Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00pm Friday, June 29th 2012 at Roller McNutt Funeral Home in Greenbrier, AR.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00am Saturday, June 30th 2012 at Roller McNutt Funeral Home Chapel in Greenbrier, AR., with Bro. Larry Grubbs officiating. Burial will follow at Springhill Cemetery in Greenbrier. Serving as pallbearers will be John Nixon, Earl Cherry, Clifton Cherry, Christopher Cherry, Shawn Key, and David Nixon. Memorials may be made to Hospice House, 903 N. Sam Houston, Odessa, TX 79761.
