PEA RIDGE — James Oscar Bell, 85, of Pea Ridge, formerly of Batesville, Ark., died Tuesday, Sept. 27, 2011, at Mercy Medical Center in Rogers. He was born Jan. 7, 1926, in Desha, Ark., to Thomas Bell and Susie Foust Bell.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and worked for International Shoe Co. He was a member of the Bentonville Church of Christ, and is preceded in death by his parents; five brothers, Roy Bell, Clyde Bell, Clayton Bell, Lonnie Bell, Kale Bell; and one sister, Fannie Carlile.

Survivors are his wife, Martha Bell of the home; one son, Jerry Ott Bell and wife, Patricia, of Pea Ridge; one sister, Ethel Cameron of Desha, Ark.; grandchildren, MacKenzie Bell and Garrett Bell; and honorary granddaughter, Shelby Horn.

Funeral is set for Friday, Sept. 30, 2 p.m. at Sisco Funeral Home in Pea Ridge. Burial will be at Pea Ridge Cemetery.

Visitation is set for Thursday, Sept. 29, 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.

PEA RIDGE — Martha Bell, 80, of Pea Ridge, died Jan. 25 at Concordia Nursing Center in Bella Vista. Service is set for 11 a.m. Tuesday, Jan 28, at Sisco Funeral Home Chapel in Pea Ridge. Arrangements are by Sisco Funeral Home in Pea Ridge. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
