Lezene Morris was born in Elizabeth, Arkansas, daughter of Ossie Alvin and Offie Lydia (Owens) Reynolds. She departed this life on July 24, 2015, at Brooke Haven Healthcare in West Plains, Missouri.

Lezene was united in marriage to Vernon William Montgomery on June 20, 1945 in Salem, Arkansas and later married Coy James Morris on October 30, 1965 in Salem, Arkansas. She was a factory worker for Seifers Candy in Kansas City, Missouri and was of Christian faith after giving her life to Christ as a young adult. Lezene did beautiful embroidery work and shared it with everyone, she kept her house immaculate and was very independent but quite loyal to her friends. She loved Coke in the little glass bottles, loved her dogs Tramp and Bandit, loved music, singing, reading and cooking for her family, especially apple pies.

Lezene is survived by 2 daughters, Donna Jean Foster of Sturkie, Arkansas and Cindy Ann Temple (Dr. Greg Temple) of West Plains, Missouri; 3 Sisters, Anna Lee Hodges (Bill) of Salem, Arkansas, Shirley Rae Painter of West Plains, Missouri and Patricia Diane Garrison (L.D.) of Isabella, Missouri; 4 Grandchildren, Amy Lezene Smithee (Josh), Jamie LeAnn Foster (Chad), Timothy Joseph Temple (Alanna) and Robert Lynn Temple; 6 Great-Grandchildren, Emily Brooke Casey (Tyler), Maggie Beth Foster, Nicole Donn Foster, Lynnsey Jo Foster, Lynn James Temple and Anna Ruth Temple; and many other relatives and friends. Lezene was preceded in death by both husbands, her parents; son-in-law (Larry Foster); 2 brothers (Delma Reynolds and Carroll Reynolds); and sister (Nadine Sanders).

Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 30, 2015, 11:00 AM at Barker Funeral Home Chapel in Salem, Arkansas, with Bro. David Ball officiating. Arrangements entrusted to Barker Funeral Home of Salem. Pallbearers are T.J. Temple, Robby Temple, Greg Temple, Josh Smithee, Chad Foster, Paul Foster and Matt Foster. Honorary Pallbearers are Jerry Painter, Preston Garrison, Monty Reynolds, Patrick Reynolds, Lynn Reynolds, Wayne Sanders, Jay Ware, Chuck Hodges and Bill Hodges. Memorials preferred to the Elizabeth Cemetery Fund.
