James Jackson "Jack" Tiffin, 89, of Ozark died Friday, July 21, 2006, in Ozark. He was a Methodist and Army retiree and veteran of World War II and the Korean War.

Funeral will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at Shaffer Funeral Home Chapel of Ozark with burial at Highland Cemetery in Ozark.

He is survived by his wife, Emma; a daughter, Jackie Brower of Bella Vista; a son, Jerry Tiffin of Van Buren; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

On November 5, 2014, God called Emma Good Tiffin, 94 of Ozark, Arkansas to come home.
She was born in Bartlesville, Oklahoma in 1920 to Furrel and Lillie Good, and grew up along with seven siblings.

Emma became a dedicated teacher with her career beginning when she was 18 years old in Kansas. Throughout the years, she taught all grades, and retired from the former Arkansas Valley Vo-Tech where she taught Adult Education. She received many awards, several from the State of Arkansas, for her teaching performance and dedication to her students. The passion of her life, Emma proved her dedication to her career, and didn’t retire until the age of 80.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Jack Tiffin; her son Jerry Tiffin; one sister and four brothers.

Survivors include her daughter, Jackie Smith and husband Gail of Springfield, Missouri; brother Bert Good of Eastland, Texas; sister Ruby Moden of Lakewood, California; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren.

Funeral services are scheduled for 10:00 am Saturday, November 8th at Shaffer Funeral Home Chapel in Ozark with burial at Highland Cemetery under direction of Shaffer Funeral Home.
