COLCORD, Okla. — Roxie Maude Nipps, 62, of Colcord died Nov. 29, 2000, at St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa, Okla. She was born March 26, 1938, in Hulbert, Okla., to William Alexander and Sarah Elsie Cummins Dill. She had been a resident of Colcord for 20 years, formerly of Tahlequah, Okla.

She was a former employee of Peterson's Industries in Decatur.

Survivors include her husband, Ivan Nipps, to whom she was married July 23, 1955; five sons and four daughters-in-law, Wilson Nipps and Cathy of Bentonville, Michael Nipps and Billy Nipps and Becky, all of Colcord, Nick Nipps and Sheila of Kansas, Okla., and B.J. Nipps and Donnita of Eucha, Okla.; one daughter and son-in-law, Kelly Fields and Bill of Oaks, Okla.; 17 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; three brothers, Junior Dill of Muskogee, Okla., Leo Dill of Tulsa and Carl Dill of Hulbert; three sisters, Audrey McDonald of Tulsa, Lois Bayless of Colcord and Jackie Rodden of Muskogee.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Missionary Baptist Church in Colcord with the Rev. Hurley Holcombe officiating.

Burial will be in Falling Springs Cemetery near Decatur.

Visitation will be from 6:30 to 8 p.m. today at Wasson Funeral Home in Siloam Springs.
