Juliaetta Hammond 57 of Greenbrier died March 18, 2012. She was born July 5, 1954 in Topmost, Kentucky to M.H. Thornsberry and Hassie Hall Thornsberry. Mrs. Hammond was of the Baptist faith and a member of Soda Valley Free Will Baptist Church.

She is preceded in death by her parents, a sister Joan Thornsberry and her first husband Jimmy Best.

Survivors include her husband Danny Hammond of Greenbrier, daughters Angela Adcock of Greenbrier and Tonya Miller of Quitman, sister Lucille Westmoreland of Greenwhich, Ohio, brothers Jackie Thornsberry of Wyandotte, Michigan, Terry Thornsberry of Milan, Michigan, Phillip Thornsberry of Belleville, Michigan and Jimmie Thornsberry of Cookeville, Tennessee. Other survivors include grandchildren Nathaniel and Courtney Ficklen of Greenbrier, Whitney Miller and Jordan Miller of Quitman, Sierra Holt of Palm Cove, Florida and Marleigh Hammond of Plymouth, Michigan, along with a host of other family and friends.

Visitation will be Wednesday March 21 from 11am to 8pm at Soda Valley Free Will Baptist Church. Funeral Service s will be 1pm Thursday March 22, 2012 at Soda Valley Free Will Baptist Church with Bro. Carl Tate officiating. Burial will follow in Antioch Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Nathaniel Ficklen, Courtney Ficklen, Scotty Miller, Timmy Adcock, Kevin Adcock and Cody Lathem.
