Springdale, Jan 18 - (Special)- Jack Coger, 38, farmer of east of Springdale, died this morning at the Sparks Memorial Hospital in Fort Smith. He was a active member of the Free Will Baptist Church at Pilgrim Rest.

Survivors are his wife, the former Ruby Gibson, whom he married December 24, 1828; a son, Lloyd Asa, and a daughter, Jacqueline of the home; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. L.A. Coger of Springdale; and five sisters, Mrs. A.C. Pitchford, Bartlesville, Okla., Mrs. Doyle Brooks, Fayetteville, Mrs. Joe Shaver, Springdale, Mrs. Bessie Mercer, Wichita Falls, Texas, and Mrs. Mamie Fitch, Little Rock, Calif.

Funeral arrangements, in charge f the Callison-Sisco Funeral Home, are incomplete

SPRINGDALE — Ruby Jane Coger, 100, of Springdale, died Thursday, Dec. 16, 2010, at Circle of Life Hospice. She was born Nov. 24, 1910, in Spring Valley to Berry William and Cynthia Jane Johnson Gibson.

Mrs. Coger was educated in Springdale schools. She raised her family and managed the family farms along the War Eagle River. She was a member of the Church of Christ throughout her life and attended the Pleasant Street Church of Christ.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Coger, in 1950, by four sisters, three brothers, and a great-grandson, Decker Sizemore.

She is survived by a daughter, Julia Jacqueline Sizemore and husband David of Springdale; a son, Lloyd Asa Coger and wife Juanita of Springdale; seven grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and one
great-great-granddaughter.

Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 19, at Heritage Funeral Home in Springdale, online guest book at www.heritageofnwa.com.

A graveside service will be 2 p.m. Monday at Joyce Cemetery officiated by her grandsons.

Casket bearers will be Michael Sizemore, Galen Sizemore, Larry Coger, Lester Coger, Glen Coger, Logan Coger and Zac Coger.

Memorial contributions may be made to Circle of Life Hospice, 901 Jones Road, Springdale, AR 72762.
