May 1,1882-July 13,1967
Mrs. Russilla O'Rear, 85 years old, Route 1 Mulberry, Arkansas, died Thursday, July 13, 1967 in a local hospital. A resident of the Mulberry area for 38 years, Mrs. O'Rear was born May 1, 1882 at Altus, Arkansas, the daughter of Henry and Carolyn Gazaway Burns. She was a Methodist.
Survivors are a son, I. S.; three daughters, Mrs. Fisher, Arlie, and Mrs. Carty, all of Mulberry; two sisters, Pearl, of Willsville, Missouri and Mae of Altus, Arkansas; ten grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
The funeral service, directed by Edwards Funeral Home, was held Friday at 2 p.m. at Sandy Chapel church near Mulberry with Elmo Sossamon officiating, assisted by J. M. Rogers. Burial was at Hight cemetery near Mulberry, Arkansas.
