Mrs. Carolee Sanders, age 84, of Forrest City, died Tuesday at the Crestpark Retirement Inn in Forrest City. She had been in poor health for the past several years.
Mrs. Sanders was born May 13, 1928, in Missouri, and was the daughter of George Mason and Carrie Darst Mason. She lived in St. Francis County most of her life, was a housewife, and a Baptist.
Mrs. Sanders married John D. Sanders and he preceded her in death in 2003. She is survived by three sons; Paul Mason of West Memphis, David Sanders of Proctor, and Terry Sanders of Hughes, one daughter, Brenda Plunk of Hernando, Mississippi, twelve grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. She had one son, James Sanders, who preceded her in death in 1997.
Services for Mrs. Sanders will be held Graveside, 10:30 A.M., Friday, at the Forrest Park Cemetery in Forrest City.
