Mrs. James F. 'Granny' Peck, age 93, of Forrest City, died Tuesday, May 3, 2005, at her home. Mrs. Peck was born Sept. 14, 1911, in Irvin, Fla., the daughter of William Madison Bronson and Leila Jane Little Bronson. She lived in Perry, Fla., Valdosta, Ga., and Morrilton prior to moving to Forrest City. She was a homemaker, a pastor's wife and a member of Antioch Baptist Church in Wynne. In 1945, Mrs. Peck married Rev. James F. Peck and he preceded her in death in 1987. She is survived by a son, Joe Stevens of Lake Park, Ga.; two grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Visitation for Mrs. Peck will be held on Friday, May 6, 2005, from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Chapel of Stevens Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 7, 2005, at 2 p.m. in Stevens Chapel with burial following in Forrest Park Cemetery.
