James Lee McKenzie, 81, of Rogers, Ark., died Jan. 1, 2022.

He was born July 5, 1940, to Gordon McKenzie and Lorene Trok McKenzie.

He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Irene; and one sister, Charlene Pickett.

He is survived by his daughter, Laura McKenzie, of Rogers.

Graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 5, 2022, at Rogers City Cemetery in Rogers.

ROGERS — Irene McKenzie, 75, lifelong resident of Rogers, Ark., died April 4, 2014, in Tulsa, Okla. Born April 6, 1938, in Rogers, Ark., she was the daughter of Loyd and Ruie Neal Waters.

She married James Lee McKenzie Oct. 14, 1966, in Rogers, Ark. Irene was an accomplished seamstress, cook and was a homemaker. She attended Cross Church, Rogers, Ark.

Survivors include her husband, James Lee of the home; two daughters, Anita Kay Poindexter and husband, Jim, of Hiwasse, Ark., and Laura Ann McKenzie of Rogers, Ark.; son, Loyd W. McKenzie and wife, Gayla, of Gravette, Ark.; four grandchildren, Ashley Casey, Ryan Holloway, Elizabeth and Maggie McKenzie; and great-grandchild, Judd Casey.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Thursday, April 10, 2014, at Chapel on the Creeks, Rogers, Ark., with visitation prior to service at 10 a.m. Burial will follow Rogers Cemetery, Rogers, Ark.
