Mrs. Preston Ray, 84, of Blytheville died October 14,
1994, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Blytheville after a short illness.
Born in Huffman, she had lived all of her life in the Blytheville area. She was a member of the Ruddle Road Church of God.
She is survived by her husband of Blytheville; six sons, Thomas "Buddy" Ray of Blytheville, Carl Ray of Pine Bluff, Albert Ray of Jonesboro, Elmer Ray of Marion, Robert Ray of Caruthersville, Mo., and David "Steve" Ray of Memphis, Tenn.; two daughters, Mary Lott and Nancy Plunkett, both of Blytheville, one brother, R.L. Peery of Lake City Fla.; 18 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Cobb Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. James Decanter officiating.
Burial will follow in the Elmwood Cemetery at Blytheville. The family will receive visitors from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday at Cobb Funeral Home.
The family requests memorials be made to the Ruddle Road Church of God.
