Homer - March 3, 1891 - July 26, 1967
Grace - August 13, 1910 - January 11, 1989
El Dorado, Ark. - Homer B. Wood, 76 of Route two, Camden, died Wednesday afternoon at his home after a lengthy illness. He was born in Gurdon, March 3, 1891 so of John B. and Cora Ester Forcht Wood. He was a merchant and had lived in Camden since 1909. He was a member of the Cross Road Baptist Church. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Grace Parker Wood, a son, Horace (Buddy) Wood of Camden, a daughter, Mrs. Durwood Van Meter of Camden, and a sister, Mrs. Mable Wood Hunter of Camden and five grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the Cross Roads Baptist Church and burial will be in Mt. Horeb Cemetery by Rumph Funeral Home of El Dorado. (Camden News - July 27, 1967)
