Kenneth Bradley, 69, a lifelong resident of Weiner, passed away on Sunday January 13, 2008, at Baptist East in Memphis. He was born on February 2, 1938, in Newport, to Homer and Stella Bradley. Mr. Bradley was a retired farmer and a member of Long Creek Baptist Church. Most of all, he was a loving and devoted husband, dad and pop who enjoyed hunting and spending time with family and friends.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Avis Bradley of the home; a son and daughter-in-law, Tim and Aleshia Bradley of Jonesboro; three daughters and their husbands, Pam and Jay Reiman, Tammy and Barry Wolverton, all of Waldenburg and Debby and Gary Reddmann of Harrisburg; two granddaughters and spouses, Bradley and Whit Walls, Shalei and Trevor Malone; four grandsons and spouses, Chase and Brooke Kagen, Abe Reiman, Taner Wolverton, Jake Bradley; one great granddaughter, Blaire Kagen; step-grandchildren, Ashley and Clay Spencer, Lee Reddmann, Dax Reddmann, Cody Wolverton, Henry Spencer and William Spencer; a brother, Taylor Bradley of Weiner; and two sisters, Faye Russell of Swifton and Pansey Calloway of Texas.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, JC Bradley and WC Bradley; three sisters, Hazel Spradling, Vaye Crossland and Violet Bradley.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. at Roller-Farmers Union Chapel in Weiner with John Worsham officiating. Burial will follow at Waldenburg Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home in Weiner.
Pallbearers will include Jimmy Mack, George Ragsdale, Bill McBride, Sammy Bowen, Joe Copeland, Tim Sitzer, Brad Mack and Brian Mack. Honorary pallbearers will include, James Duke, Cleveland Keller, Billy Joe Priddy, Caleb Sitzer and Kevin Lawrence.
Lasting memorials can be made to the Weiner Volunteer Fire Department.
