Alfred Landon Parson, 61, of Springdale died March 13, 1999, at Northwest Medical Center in Springdale.
He was born Feb. 26, 1938, in Wharton to Sam and Norma Beasley Parson. He was a member of the New Hope Fellowship Church, New Hope Fellowship Scholarship Committee, Schmieding Brothers Scholarship Committee, Disabled American Veterans and American Legion. He was preceded in death by one brother.
Survivors include his wife, Zandra Cain Parson, to whom he was married Jan. 15, 1958; one son, and daughter-in-law, Brian Parson and Gail of Springdale; one daughter and son-in-law, Tenna Payne and Jeff L. of Oxford, Miss; one brother, H. L. Parson of Lowell; four grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Sisco Chapel of Springdale with the Rev. Cliff Jenkins officiating. Burial will be in Huntsville Cemetery.
