Funeral services will be held at Murphys Funeral home in Marked Tree, Arkansas on Saturday, February 8, 2014 for Bobby Joe Farmer, 62. Brother Roger Dale Watson will officiate at the service. Burial will take place in Nichols Cemetery. Bobby Farmer was born in Harrisburg, Arkansas on October 12, 1951 and passed away at his home in Taft on January 26, 2014. Bobby was the beloved husband of his wife and best friend of 31 years, Hazel Farmer. Bobby was also a proud father, grandfather and great-grandfather who will be missed so much by all who knew and loved him. He was the best father and husband a wife could hope for. He was also an avid hunter, fisherman and enthusiastic business owner. He began and operated Farmer Vacuum Service here in Taft since 2000 and with hard work and determination he made it into a successful business in the Taft community. Bobby was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Farmer and Mazie Tiger; his sister, Mary Nichols; his brother, Ruben Tiger; and two grandchildren, Carson Farmer and Dominique Bitner. Bobby is survived by his wife, Hazel Farmer; his children, Bobby Lee Farmer, Donna Farmer, Tracy Malone, David Fulton, Verna Coats and Mister Byerly and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews and his special uncle Bill Hamblen. Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 1, 2014 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the Erickson & Brown Funeral Home.
