ROGERS (Special) — Junior Dean Burch 30, resident of Cross Hollows Community who worked as a carpenter for Don Ward, contractor of Fayetteville, became ill Saturday while working on a job at Goshen and was pronounced dead on arrival at a Fayetteville hospital where he was taken by a Moore ambulance.
Born July 9, 1929 near Lowell, where he attended grade school, he was graduated from Rogers High School in 1947. He was a former jet-air mechanic at Tinker Field, Oklahoma City, and a mechanic for Wendt Sawdust Plant in Rogers.
Survivors are the widow, Betty Palmer Birch, twin daughters, Jackie Delaine and Jera1d Dean; a son, Jimmy Daniel, all of the home; his mother, Mrs. Stella Harrison Burch of Cross Hollows; and a grandmother, Mrs. Rebecca Harrison of Rogers.
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 2:30 p.m. in the Chapel of Burn's Funeral Home by the Rev. Charles Rogers, pastor of Pentecosta1 Holiness Church of Springdale. Burial will be in Rogers cemetery.
