The Rev. Omer Jarrell, 74, of Siloam Springs, died in a Fayetteville hospital this morning following an extended illness. Born June 15, 1894 in Nellis, V. Va., the son of John and Elmira Lake Jarrell, he was an ordained minister of the Assembly of God Churches for 35 years. He was a presbyter of the Northwest Arkansas Section at the time of his death.
He is survived by the widow, Mrs. Ethel Jarrell, of the home; two brothers, George at Hillsboro, Ore. and Henen of Palm Bay, Fla. and two sisters, Mrs. Brooks Treet of Muskogee, Okla., and Mrs. Lillie Brown of Springdale.
Funeral arrangements will be announced by Nelson's Funeral Home.

SILOAM SPRINGS — Ethel Williams Jarrell, 100, of Siloam Springs died Dec. 26, 2002, at Quail Ridge Living Center. She was born June 12, 1902, in Lawton, Okla., to John M. and Addie Thurman Williams. She had been a resident of Northwest Arkansas since 1936. She was a member of Siloam Springs Assembly of God and assisted her husband in evangelistic work. Her husband, the Rev. Omer Jarrell, died in 1968.
She is survived by nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Wasson Funeral Home in Siloam Springs with the Rev. Lonnie Nelson officiating. Burial will be in Rogers Cemetery. Arrangements are by Wasson Funeral Home, Siloam Springs.
