He was born to Marvin and Anna Graham Youngblood. His employment began with the aircraft industry in California and later, he drove a bus in Los Angeles for three years. In 1948, he returned to Huntsville and operated the White Way Cafe and a dairy operation. He also owned and operated a trucking and custom machinery business for 30 years. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Huntsville. He was a member of the Huntsville City Council for 24 years and was a former member of the Madison County Election Commission and served on the board of directors of the Huntsville Cemetery Association. He was a member of the Huntsville Chamber of Commerce, the Northwest Arkansas Cavalcade and served as its first president for seven years. He organized the Huntsville Riding Club in 1949, and in 1976, he was appointed coordinator for the Bicentennial Wagon Train from Arkansas to Pennsylvania. After his retirement, he traveled and enjoyed woodworking and raising cattle.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Zelma Dotson Youngblood of the home, to whom he was married Jan. 17, 1940. 3 nephews, and one niece, and several great-nephews and nieces.
He was 84 when he died at Meadowview Healthcare and Rehab.

Mary Zelma Youngblood, 88, of Huntsville, Arkansas, died February 18, 2010 at Meadowview Healthcare and Rehab in Huntsville. She was born August 14, 1921 at Wharton, Arkansas, the daughter of Oliver Burton and Kate Jones Dotson. She had retired from Madison County Hardware and was a member of the Huntsville Missionary Baptist Church. She was the widow of Orba Lee Youngblood, whom she married on January 17, 1940 and who preceded her in death on July 6, 2002. She was also preceded in death by one brother, Ewell Dotson and one sister, Ruth Parson.
Survivors include: two nephews, Truman Parson and Raymon Parson, both of Huntsville, Arkansas and several other nephews and nieces.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P. M. Tuesday, February 23, in the chapel of Brashears Funeral Home with The Reverends Bud Pulley and Ora Lee Boss officiating. Interment will be in the Huntsville Cemetery under the direction of Brashears Funeral Home www.brashearsfuneralhome.net of Huntsville, Arkansas. Pallbearers will be: Jimmy Autry, Byron Parson, Larry Bates, LeRoy Gehrke, Curren Parson and Johnathan Parson. The family will receive friends from 6:00 P. M. to 8:00 P. M. on Monday at the funeral home
