Richard Lee "Rick" Coger II, 52, of Fayetteville, Ark., died Oct. 1, 2010, at his home. He was born May 20, 1958, in Huntsville, Ark., the son of Richard Lee and Carolyn Sue Whiddon Coger.
He was a graduate of Huntsville High School and a lifelong resident of Northwest Arkansas.
He was a manager of the family's businesses in Northwest Arkansas and a member of the Huntsville First United Methodist Church. In his recreational time, he enjoyed spending time boating and skiing on the lake with his boys and family.
He was preceded in death by his mother; and his grandparents, Arlis and Jesse Hawkins Coger and the Rev. Thomas R. and Bertha Hooten Whiddon.
Survivors include three sons, Richard Lee Coger III, Thomas Coger and Patrick Coger, all of Fayetteville, Ark.; his father, Richard Lee Coger of Fayetteville, Ark.; one brother, Randy Coger of Huntsville, Ark.; and one sister, Janet Coger of Fayetteville, Ark.
Graveside services will be held 10 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 6, at the Huntsville Cemetery, with the Rev. Butch Bolinger officiating.
Arrangements are under the direction of Brashears Funeral Home, www.brashearsfuneralhome.net, of Huntsville, Ark. Pallbearers will be Jack Combs, Eddie Bohannon, Travis Kelley, Phil "Gumbo" Madison, Jamie Sparks and Danny Warren.
