Kenneth Lee Phillips, 65, of Fayetteville, died April 13, 1985, at the Veterans Administration Medical Center of Fayetteville. He was born Oct. 23, 1919, at Huntsville, the son of Elbridge Lee and Zora Ellen Wilson Phillips. He was a veteran of World War II. He was a Baptist and a retired meat cutter.
Survivors include his wife, Shirley Gilliam Phillips of the home; three sons, Danny Phillips of Springdale, Larry Phillips of Fayetteville and Mike Phillips of Springdale; his mother, Zora Phillips of Huntsville; one brother, Leroy Phillips of Fullerton, Calif.; one sister, Geneva Harvill of Huntsville; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Services were Tuesday, April 16, at Brashears Funeral Home with the Rev. Von Del Moony officiating. Interment was at Huntsville Cemetery.
Pallbearers were H.L. Parson, Harley Gilliam, Bill Gilliam, Ben Phillips, Joe Phillips and Wilburn Minor.

Shirley Mae Phillips, 81, of Springdale died Sept. 18, 2002, at Northwest Nursing Center in Fayetteville. She was born Dec. 13, 1920, in Aurora to Lewin A. and Dora Cluck Gilliam. She was a member of the Huntsville First Presbyterian Church and was a homemaker. She served as first president of Friendship Club in Huntsville. Her husband, Kenneth Lee "Bus" Phillips, died April 13, 1985.
Survivors include three sons, Larry Phillips of Fayetteville, Danny Phillips of Springdale and Mike Phillips of Ogden, Utah; one brother, Harley Gilliam of Huntsville; three sisters, Louise Minor and Jessie Phillips, both of Huntsville, and Janelle Parson of Springdale; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Brashears Funeral Home in Huntsville with the Rev. Butch Bolinger officiating.
Burial will be in Huntsville Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be John Phillips, Steve Phillips, Mark Phillips, Benny Phillips, Kevin Phillips and Brad Phillips
